PLANNING // STRATEGY // INTERACTION DESIGN
This concept was created in the fall of 2013 as a semester-long group project for Larry Keeley's Design Planning course. The idea behind yoocrew was to take existing online courses and create a collaborative, social learning environment around them that would help students complete courses and improve their educational experiences. Once we dove into this sphere we discovered that a platform of this sort could have huge implications for increasing access to quality educational experiences as well as helping people to understand their own learning skills and weaknesses by capturing data from their online interactions with the yoocrew platform. This presentation was originally presented as a pitch deck, and has been modified here to elaborate on some of the proposed features and concepts.
Our concept was very well received, and Larry Keeley chose to present our project as part of his keynote address at the annual meeting of the Association of Independent Technical Universities, a group of University Presidents, Provosts and Deans that gather to discuss the future of technological education.

I was fortunate to work with an amazing group of people on this project, and I can't think of a single idea or concept presented here that didn't benefit from input from each member of the team. Aside from myself, the team members were Marcie Cooperman, Beth Schwindt, Kaiwei Tang, and Andrea Zúñiga.
